The Eclipse 2024 was a bit of a bust in many parts of the Northeastern United States

due to the overcast sky.

Hoping to catch a glimpse of something cool, I continued to take pictures of the sky.

What I caught took me off-guard.

These were unseen and unheard, only showing up in this photo.

This was about the best view we could get of the solar eclipse. Note a dark round object in the lower right of the photo... It did not show up in other photos!

Circled in green is the sun. 

Circled in red is the anomaly.

Shortly after the first anomaly was photographed, this was taken.

No noise, and nothing visible to any of us watching!

Certainly shaped like missiles, but flying in formation, these were totally silent and were not seen by eye. 

Maybe chaising after whatever the darker object was?
