Timing between the wheels is set 90 degrees apart for maximum effect as a Hybrid Helper engine.

After already completing live testing the idea of the SDC (Speed Differential Control which was developed on the PIE 4) was tested on the PIE 2 with outstanding results.

After live testing as a hybrid helper engine the wheels were re-timed for self-propulsion - Yes, there is a difference!
